How Fast Is Satoru Gojo? Compared to Other JJK Characters

Regarding overpowered characters, Satoru Gojo is one of the most recognizable figures in all of the anime due to his innate charisma and extremely powerful attacks. Gojo is the most powerful sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen and can easily overpower any other Jujutsu sorcerer or curse easily due to his innate talents and skills. He is not only incredibly strong but is actually quite fast as well. So, how fast is Satoru Gojo?

Satoru Gojo is arguably the fastest character in Jujutsu Kaisen due to his innately strong body and command over his Limitless power. His Limitless power allows him to move faster than his opponents, as he has complete control over the limited time and space between them.

Regarding overpowered characters, Gojo seems to be one of the few anime characters fans understand is nearly unbeatable but not necessarily someone who ruins the entire storyline. Then again, he has always been able to change the tide of any battle just by being there, and that has a lot to do with his incredible power and speed. Now, let’s look at just how fast Satoru Gojo is.

Satoru Gojo’s Speed

A certain character’s innate power and potential has always dictated the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. That’s because a person’s cursed energy is what dictates just how strong they are. In that regard, no other character in Jujutsu Kaisen is stronger than Satoru Gojo, who is said to be the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer since the time of Sukuna, the King of Curses.

Satoru Gojo is innately strong due to his bloodline, as he belongs to one of the most powerful clans of Jujutsu sorcerers. It was also through sheer luck that he was born with some of the most powerful attributes in the history of Jujutsu sorcerers, as he innately possessed Limitless and Six Eyes. The fact that Gojo possesses these attributes makes him the strongest in the entire storyline, as not even the strongest curses we’ve seen so far can match his power.

Of course, while we know that Gojo is strong, we also know he is incredibly fast. He might be able to take down foes without effort using his immense strength and incredible cursed energy. But he is also known to move fast enough to quickly defeat his enemies. But just how fast is Satoru Gojo?

Physically speaking, Gojo was able to reach the pinnacle of speed as he trained hard enough to be able to move quickly in and out of a fight using his immense speed. His speed is a product of his hard training and innate potential as a member of the powerful Gojo clan. As such, he can easily outpace any curse or sorcerer using punches and kicks that not even Jogo, a curse with the power of at least eight of Sukuna’s fingers, could perceive. In fact, Gojo could even defeat a thousand transfigured humans in under five minutes due to his immense speed.

But one of the things that make Gojo so fast is his innate Limitless power, one of the most powerful techniques that only a few members of the Gojo clan have been able to possess throughout the history of this powerful family. Using his cursed energy, Satoru Gojo can manipulate time and space to a certain degree and can obtain absolute control over them at an atomic level.

The use of Limitless allows Satoru Gojo to make use of Infinity, which is the neutral form of his Limitless power. Infinity is the ability to control the time and space between Gojo and his opponent because he can slow time down in a limited amount of space. As such, this allows Gojo to move faster than any of his opponent’s attacks, as he has complete control over the time in the space between him and his opponent’s attacks.

Gojo displayed the power of Infinity in his fight with Jogo. While the cursed spirit thought he had killed Gojo with an incredibly powerful fire-based attack, Jogo was shocked to see that the overpowered sorcerer could survive what he thought was a direct hit. That was when Satoru Gojo revealed how Limitless and Infinity worked.

He told Jogo that he could manipulate the time and space in the Infinity between him and Jogo, such that he could dodge what seemed to be a direct hit. He also allowed the cursed spirit to see that he had complete control over the Infinity between them, as Jogo’s attack on Gojo seemed to take ages due to the sorcerer’s ability to control time.

Gojo also displayed his immense speed and control over Limitless in that scene with Jogo. In a matter of seconds, he got to Yuji Itadori, who was several miles away in his hideout and seemingly teleported him to where he and Jogo fought to show Yuji just how strong he was. 

In that regard, Satoru Gojo can move faster than anyone else due to the power of his Limitless technique, as he can slow down attacks in the space between him and his opponents. Gojo explained this in a manner that’s similar to the paradox of Achilles and the tortoise, as Achilles will never be able to catch the tortoise due to the infinite amount of space separating them.

This might sound confusing, but the point is that Gojo can make what seems to be a limited and finite space seem infinite because he has complete control over the Infinity between him and his opponent. So, even if an opponent can land an attack in a fraction of a second, Gojo can stretch the Infinity between him and the attack so that he can dodge it without exerting any effort. 

How Does Gojo Compare to Other Characters?

To truly see just how fast Gojo is, let’s compare him to the other fast characters of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Nanami

Nanami was one of the first powerful characters we met in Jujutsu Kaisen as he accompanied Yuji during one of his missions. In that mission, he showcased his ability to instantly split a curse in a matter of seconds due to his cursed technique, Ratio, which allows him to create a weak spot that he could easily cut through.

In that regard, Nanami is not only strong but is also incredibly fast as well. But his speed is entirely physical, whereas Gojo’s speed is the product of his physical prowess and immense spiritual energy. That is why Gojo is still faster than Nanami.

Todo

Aoi Todo may be an insufferable character in Jujutsu Kaisen, but no one can doubt just how strong and powerful he is. He trained his body to the extent that he could overpower cursed spirits without even using his cursed energy. As such, he is strong and fast enough to take down powerful opponents effortlessly. But what makes him so strong is his ability to switch places with his opponents using Boogie Woogie, which is activated using a clap.

Boogie Woogie activates instantly whenever Todo claps, and that is why it is an extremely fast attack that allows him to instantly take down his opponents. But while this attack may be fast, let’s not forget that Gojo can stretch the theoretical space between him and his opponent using Limitless. So, even though Gojo might not be physically fast enough to try to evade Todo’s Boogie Woogie, his cursed technique is so overpowered that he can dodge any of Todo’s attacks.

Maki

Maki Zenin may not have cursed energy, but she was blessed with an incredibly powerful body stronger than most other characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. As such, she excels in using cursed objects and can use them so masterfully that she can release attacks in a fraction of a second. In fact, she was able to catch a flying bullet effortlessly due to her speed.

Of course, Maki may be just as fast as Gojo regarding their physical speed, but she doesn’t have the cursed energy or technique to counter Gojo’s ability to control the Infinity between them. That’s why she is still slower than Satoru Gojo, whose speed makes him extremely overpowered, even compared to some other overpowered anime characters.
